Programme Details

Get Confident to Work is a programme of structured day sessions that focus on parents’ motivation, confidence and resilience. Each session runs from 9.45am to 2.30pm and we tailor them to meet the needs of your clients.

Parents’ Job Clubs are morning sessions. Parents get practical ideas and expert help from our trainers, plus the additional motivation that comes from being part of a group. We usually run a series of four or six sessions on consecutive weeks.

Take Three Days is an intensive programme to help parents return to work, education and training. It’s run over three days within school hours. All participants complete a personal Get Confident to Work journal, which is theirs to keep after the programme.

  • Day one starts by getting people comfortable and able to participate. We use a range of activities to get participants thinking about their life now, the skills they have and possible futures. We introduce the idea of an action plan.

  • Day two is about personal motivation, individual career drivers, and the tools for getting a job. We also look at filling in application forms, writing CVs, and interview skills.

  • Day three is about moving forward. It covers presentation skills, developing an action plan and identifying who can help. We close with a celebration.

Take One Day is a starter day to introduce parents to key ideas from our Take Three Days programme. We design this to suit your clients’ particular needs.

We can run all our programmes for up to 12 parents. They take place at your venues, and they’re realistically priced. Depending on how many parents attend, programmes cost from £38 per person per day. Fees include an expert trainer, all materials, a copy of the Get Confident to Work journal for each participant, refreshments and training treats.
